The University grant scheme, which was commissioned to support students researchers in the areas of financial inclusion, financial intermediation and the informal sector in Nigeria, held its award ceremony on November, 29 2019.
With over 80 applicants, 25 participants which included 9 undergraduates and 16 Postgraduates were awarded. The 9 Undergraduates received Seventy Five Thousand Naira (N75,000) each while the Postgraduates received One Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira (N150,000) each. The objective of this grant scheme is to promote financial inclusion and contribute to the knowledge base in enterprise development. Implementation of the grant scheme was assigned to the Centre for Research in Enterprise and Action in Management (CREM), and below is the list of awardees of the 2019 University Research Grant Scheme;
