Due to public health concerns stemming from the Covid-19 pandemic, the 35th Session of the Governing Council held virtually on Thursday, April 23, 2020 with all members present via teleconference. The Governing Council provides invaluable guidance to the Centre’s Management, and this serves as its first ever online meeting with discussions focused on operational updates and client feedback from the Centre’s various channels, as well as strategies to manage the effects of the pandemic on the Centre’s activities.

The Centre also held its Executive Management Team sessions virtually. Client interactions have also increased via online channels. In addition to the 24 hour toll free line, engagement on our social media platforms for enquires and grievance resolution went up by 81% from the pre-covid period
