amasihohuprofileMrs. Omachefu holds a Bachelors degree in Banking and Finance from Ambrose Alli University and a Masters degree from Ladoke Akintola University, Ogbomosho. She commenced her microfinance practice through extensive training and association with LAPO, a leading MF market player and was a pioneer member of Grooming Centre. Since 2010, she has attended several training programs on Microfinance and Risk Management within and outside Nigeria, attaining certification in Risk Management from the University of New Hampshire in conjunction with the Sustainable Micro-enterprise Development Program in Ghana. She is also a certified Enterprise Risk Manager (CERM) and a member of the International Academy of Business and Financial Management. Within 2013-2014, she has undergone professional training in International Financial Reporting Standard (IFRS) and is an awardee of the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management and the Microfinance Certificate Program (MCP).


Anthony Nwosu (HND Accountancy, M.Sc. Economics) - Head of Training Research & Documentation

SBDMMr. Nwosu holds a Masters degree in Economics from the University of Bologna, Italy and a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accountancy from State Technical School in Rimini, Italy. He has an excellent understanding of financial system development and extensive knowledge of community development project management framework, having worked in the banking industry, and as a community development practitioner. He has consulted widely for multilateral and bilateral international organizations including UNICEF, UNDP, FHI and DFID. He was part of the teams that developed the State and Local Government Economic Empowerment and Development Strategy - (SEEDS) and (LEEDS) - documents for some States and Local Governments in Nigeria. He also provided extensive support to projects implemented in over forty (40) communities in UNICEF B-field Office States under the UNICEF 2002-2008 Country Programme on Community Development. He is a very experienced trainer and an expert in capacity building training. He is also an accredited CMD Management Trainer. Mr. Nwosu is an experienced journalist.

Mr. Sunday Adesokan is an IT professional with over 20 years experience. He has a strong background in software development and networking. He has actively participated in the automation of public and private organizations with expertise in networking (LAN and WAN), Accounting Software, Human Resource Management Software, Point of Sale (PoS) software and Hotel Management Software. He holds a Higher National Diploma in Computer Science from The Polytechnic, Ibadan, Nigeria. He is a member of many professional bodies among which are the Computer Professionals of Nigeria (CPN) and the Institute of Management Information System London.


Chris Igbinake (MBA, MDP, B. Sc. Plant Sciences) - Programme Manager [Oyo]

Mr. Igbinake holds a Bachelors degree in Plant Sciences from Ambrose Alli University and a Masters degree in Business Administration (Financial Management Option) from Ladoke Akintola University, as well as a Masters in Development Practice from University of Ibadan. He has rich experience in microfinance operation, strategic management, business organization and development as well as process improvement. He also has Basic and Advanced Certificates in Leadership from Day Star Leadership Academy. He is an Associate Member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM) and, since 2008, has attended several local and international training programs on Micro-credit, Strategic Management, Emotional Intelligence in the Work Place, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Project Management. She began her professional career as an intern with the now defunct Citizens International Bank of Nigeria. She is a pioneer staff of the Centre. She has attended several local and international training programs including the Centre for Management Developmentā€™s Creativity in Leadership and Innovation program and the Boulder Microfinance Training Program in Torino, Italy. She is well versed in International Financial Reporting Standards and is a scholar of the School of African Microfinance and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.
